TWO OPTIONS
Choose between two Base Dolly Versions
The Standard Base features single ended, corrected steering and the choice between hard rubber or pneumatic wheels. It works with both, 4 x 2 and 4 x 4 track wheels on a 62 cm (24.5") track width and also adapts to 100 cm (39") track. Levelling legs and a push bar are available.
The Double Ended Steering Base features independent steering at each end and the choice between hard rubber or pneumatic wheels. It works with both, 4 x 2 and 4 x 4 track wheels on a 62 cm (24.5") track width and also adapts to 100 cm (39") track. Levelling legs and a push bar are available.

What the GF-Base Dolly is capable of
4 x 2 track wheels are available in a special Vulkulan mix which are ideal for fast tracking shots but also provide extremely smooth movement for man riding or remote use. The mounted track wheels don't restrict the wheels when steering. If the ground surface demands it, the track wheels can be removed or added within seconds. Optionally 4 x 4 track wheels are also available in either Vulkulan or Plastic.
Sturdy, hand cranked levelling legs can be attached to each of the base dollies allowing for fast adjustments on uneven surfaces. The position of the levelling jacks increases the footprint of the base. A special adapter enables connection of the track wheels to run on 100 cm /39' track rather than the standard 62 cm /24,5'.
The bases are equipped with fittings for a push bar at either end of the dolly. The telescopic push bar is especially useful for fast tracking shots allowing 2 operators comfortable positioning on either side of the base.
The GF-8 crane platform can be mounted to all the base dollies transforming them into Track or Western dollies.
