Important: Please read and understand safety instructions before operating the Jib for the first time.

The GF-Tele Jib is a versatile camera jib arm designed specifically for carrying cameras and remote heads, intended for use in motion picture production either in a stationary position (on leveling legs) or mounted on tracks (with track wheels). The system is not to be used for any purpose other than the specified applications.

Before using the equipment, please ensure that you have thoroughly read and understood the safety guidelines and setup instructions. Failure to follow these safety precautions can lead to hazardous situations. Only trained and qualified personnel should assemble and operate the jib, adhering strictly to the instructions provided.

  1. Mount the Jib on the base and secure it firmly with the mounting screw  .

  2. Ensure the front locking pin  is in place and fully inserted.

  3. Connect the counterweight rods  11  and secure them with the Counterweight rod locking pins  12 .

  1. To adjust the length of the front arm of the Jib, set the jib in a horizontal position. Ensure that the front locking pin  is inserted.

  2. Remove the Parallelogramm locking pin  and open the front lock  2 .

  3. Adjust the front arm length of the jib to the required length by turning the front crank  3 . Once the  STOP  marker becomes visible, the Jib is fully extended. STOP CRANKING.

  4. Reinsert the Parallelogramm locking pin  and secure it by turning the Parallelogram pin lock  13 .

  5. Now remove the front locking pin  and start fine-tuning to level the nose of the Jib by cranking the front crank  in or out until level. When level, relock the front crank lock  .

  1. You can attach a Euro Adapter or 80 mm Tube to the Euro Adapter mount  14  and work with corresponding accessories such as Offset Adapters or Mitchell Levellers to attach the camera package from there.

  2. When attaching accessories or the camera package to the Jib, always make sure that the Jib is supported.

  3. After loading the jib (see Tech Specs↗ for maximum payload), balance the arm with the required amount of counterweights (see Tech Specs↗ for maximum counterweight).

  4. Always secure the counterweight plates on the counterweight rod with the counterweight locking pins  15 .

  5. If needed you can adjust the rear of the Jib: to do so, have the Jib set in a horizontal position. Open the rear lock  and turn the rear crank  after extending or retracting, always lock the rear lock  8 .

  1. The Jib may only be operated when balanced horizontally an all directions.

  2. The Jib can be operated from the front, the side or the back according to preference on set.

  3. The Jib movement can be controlled by the pan brake, the tilt brake and the tilt friction.
